Can't be  for hanging baskets cos their noses aren't upturned :)...not that I have anything snooty against hanging baskets (mostly :-\)... but they'd slide off?

Oops, see you said "think pigeons"....didn't see that 1st time round....they reminded me of the animal-things peeps in NY put on their balconies to deter pigeons, is orl....they didn't work, either ;D
