Hello,

Does anyone know where I can obtain mesh panels.

1-2metres long and about 50cm High with a mesh size around 20mm.

Need to make a temporary run for baby duckies!

Cheers

You could try a builders merchant. Failing that, why not posts and netting?

Look through your local Yellow Pages for security fencing. After an event some of the panels get damaged and are scraped. They may allow you to collect them or cut the mesh out. A lot of our allotment holders have found this a usefull contact from time to time.

Hope this helps as an idea.

We have always used 'Twilweld' or 'Weldmesh' panels from the local centre. We cut & bend them to make anti-most-things covers. Expensive! = Tim

I know its not the same, but I've just got a 1m x 10m roll of chicken wire from Wilkinsons for £9.99.  Would this do?

Hello,

Thanks everybody. I wimped out and took the non DIY approach:

This place has some great kit for smallholders etc.

Hi Pete,

Spot On! They are quite comical, remarkably intelligent, and each one has it's own personality.

If anyone is interested, Storey's Guide To Raising Ducks from amazon.co.uk is excellent!
