Allotments 4 All

Hi everyone. I may not have the time to get on here for a while. Mom is not too well at the moment So I won't have the time to get on here as much as usual what with running up and down stairs. She is off her legs at the moment. I just hope that it isn't a thrombosis cos she's had a few mini strokes this year. Have to wait until morning to see if she's feeling any better. If not will have to go the the A and E. Hope to be back in circulation soon. Keep a seat for me meanwhile. Love Shirl

Shirley. Would just like to send best wishes for Mum. I hope things are not too serious, especially now the weather seems to be making a change for the better when she could have enjoyed some time at the allotment.. Take care of yourself I know how being a carer can be so exhausting.

Hello I'm back. Mom has got water retention in her legs. Thank goodness it wasn't a clot. We stayed at home with her all weekend after taking her to A&E. Then on Monday I was poorly. Had to go to the Asthma clinic yesterday and got my medication revued. Results of a mispent life smoking I'm afraid. We popped to the plot yesterday to gather what we could.I can't believe how fast things grow when you don't go for a few days. I spent most of yesterday afternoon blanching beans and chopping tomatoes. Still have loads of courgettes. Had some last night done in the pan with olive oil and paprika. I think this was the nicest way of doing them so far. And so very easy. I might just have an aubergine tonite. Thankyou all for your kind messages. Love Shirl
