Can't believe how sad and sorry our greenhouse plants are.  We got our first tomato of the year today, maybe another one will be ripe by Sunday.  Everything we've got under glass is way behind and I know it's not feed or watering so I guess it must be warmth and light.

I was even contemplating getting the mercury lamps out to give them a boost :D but we're having a new conservatory built which means no power out back at the moment :(.

My children have had their cagools out since the winter and wellie boots are still on standby!  I still have my denim jacket hanging up for when I go out and as for my flip flops and sandals, pah!!  I wonder what the holiday knock on effect will be....last summer was so long, hot and dry that I know lots of people that decided to holiday in this country this year, heading for Cornwall and Devon.  What a wash out.  The travel agents selling flights abroad will do a boom next year me thinks.

Ha - Devon and Cornwall!  Me and Mrs Project went to Devon at the end of May and had to stay an extra day as we needed a weather forecast that was for dry and sunny so that the tent was dried out!

Still at least we read another book each!

We had sunshine for a bit today. I took the day off work and went down the lottie to meet the chap from the council to sort out the new fence we're having put in next week (good negotiating skills I have) and it was lovely down there.  I did about three hours of weeding (came up so easily, and the soil was surprisingly warm) and was knackered by the time I got home.

Ha snow, your probably right.

Instead of being a nice day is horrid, low gray clouds and feels like there is thunder in the air!!

There saying there there is going to be more severe weather for the next 24 hours in gloucester. Its not fair!!

Hot and sunny here today, but windy- great drying weather. The combines are out in the fields around us- must be counting their blessings that they've got stuff to harvest, never mind the weather to do it!

Didn't we have some of that at Easter time........think that was our share now we got Easter weather.
