How tall do aubergines grow. I am growing  Diamond and they are flowering at the moment. They are about 2 ft. The flowers are really lovely but you have to get down on yer knees to see em. Still no flowers on the peppers though
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

I have given up on my 4 plants.  3 of them seem to have been attacked and the growth isnt very good. They need more heat.

Haven't grown aubs before this year but now I'm trying mini aubergines - Calliope and Little finger - anyone know what height they should get to? Planning to move the largest seedlings (still only about 8") out of the cold frame into the garden - is this too soon?

My aubergines look a bit sad. Have been growing them on the windowsill and they have an infestation of greenfly which I have now hoovered up with a small hand vac meant for cleaning computers. Only had success with aubergines a couple of years ago wtih Red Egg aubergine. Sowed seed for OH to take to the office and they are apparently looking much better than mine.

i've got 4 calliope and 4 black beauty.  the calliope's have now almost caught up in size to the BBs (now about 2.5' tall).

absolutely loads of blooms on both, no fruit set yet but only lost a couple of blooms dropped off so i live in hope.  just need heat !

'Mohican' aubergines yesterday, the 'Red Egg' is next to them, lovely purple flowers, but terrible pollination compared to the others.....

If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

Precocious - but great value!

I love the taste of mohican aubs. Yours look way healthier than mine !  Mind those little spikes when you pick them.  :o

Deb P

Hmmm, yes I've been caught by them already, ouch! :-\
