with it being  wet ray's dug up the second earlies and the desiree we've 70 lb of spuds so found these sacks .good value?

sitting around, healing..won't be on for long, it's too uncomfortable..nice to be back  :)
try going through ebay, we got ours from there don't know why they give a web site if it doesn't work

we got 5 brand new 12.5kg hessian potato sacks for 4.65 inc p&p..they do bigger ones, onion nets and rice sacks they say are good for storing carrots etc in  :)

I have only got 2 potato sacks both were from potato day. I salvaged the string bags the seed potatoes came in as mini onion storage bags.

Just got to work out how to hang them now before i fill them :-)

Got our sacks from Potloads - they're very high quality indeed.  We also bought some anchor pegs, which are larger and stronger than most that you see,  90 for £8.10 inc p&p, so exactly 9p each, which I thought was pretty good, too.

Has anyone used  malt sacks to store potatoes? They are woven, but similar fabric to those big builders' sacks. Wonder if they would sweat? I've got loads from collecting spent hops.
