Welcome Debster,
I am fairly new, been 'hanging out' here for just over a month now, and I'm amazed at what I am learning, so many tips from a great helpful bunch of people.
I hope you enjoy it as much as me (I have even set it as my homepage!)

Still in the plot   36 Leeks, 1x rows parsnips, 2x  rows chard, psb, broccoli, 5 rows garlic, 1 row swede, lots of onions - started in rows, but the birds had them and now they are random!!

Hello and welcome. Be warned - A4A is addictive and you may not be able to spend as much time gardening as you used to!

Welcome, debster! Wish I had a large garden instead of an allotment- firstly I'd get out to it more often, and secondly I wouldn't be out off by the (better) state of the other alotments! ;D

hiya and nice to meet you! Large garden good enough, i think there are quite a lot of people on here who don't have lotties. My friend has a very productive veg patch. she is very inventive with her planting and does very well with it so i'm sure you'll be fine.  8)
