Do any of you pinch the growing tips out of either of these to promote bushier growth?  I have never, and have always done okay, but am I missing out on bucket fulls of both?

They say to pinch out Aubergines when they reach 12" , don't think it is recommended for Peppers.
Mine get staked, and pinched when they reach the top of the greenhouse, no they are not super tall, just sitting on a shelf, which happens to be about 12" below the roof!
The peppers I just stake, and let do their own thing ;D
Had loads of Aubs last year ;D but my peppers all got eaten by huge caterpillars :'(

Nahh  don't worry, as soon as the weather warms up, they will shoot up! ;D

If the peppers don't produce side shoots, I pinch them at about ten inches tall.  I don't know if this is right or not !

Didnt last year on my chillies and peppers and had plenty.  first year of aubergines, didnt pinch out the one at work, just means its taller right  ;D

I figure pinching it just makes it grow outwards instead of upwards, I;ve got more room upwards on the plot LOL!  so let em go.
