My partner had breast cancer last year.  she had it removed, had radiotherapy and is now on Tamoxifen and she is doing fine - we hope.  Fingers and toes crossed for Sarah  :)

Oh my goodness, I've only just seen this thread - please pass on my best wishes to SS.  I watched your '15 minutes of fame' with great excitement - you have been very inspiring to me during my first year on the alloment.

Well come on now Supersprout you have to get back and bake my  egg white cake yet.So you just  take care , take their nasty meds, eat their awful food, do just what they tell you, then come back to us all with your  sense of humour and you positive encouragement that you seem so happy  to share with us all. I am a relative newby on this forum (did not even properly introduce myself, sorry), but already felt Supersprout to be the one I would like best in real life.

I too have been away - such a shock. Please pass on my best wishes and prayers. In my day job I'm part of a team researching new drugs for cancer treatment because my Mum got it when I was 21, changing my whole life's outlook. Dear SS, I am hoping so much that you get better soon, and best wishes too to your family.

When I was new on the board and mentioned I was looking at runner bean varieties, SS  quietly sent me some Sun Bright - so those are the words I associate her with (and mulch of course!)
