Hi it can be a bit daunting i agree . Best thing to do is draw up a plan,Decide what you want
you want to grow . Then tackle a small bit at a time and plant as you go . There is lots of advice
in the Wiki section ,Also take lots of pics before after etc will inspire when times are hard .

             Good luck...

congrats on getting your plot, don't be put off, just break it down into small, bite size chunks and work on a bit at a time

we got the paths laid out first, marked out the beds and cleared a bed at a time, enjoy it, it'll all come right in the end  :)

Get a shed built with a leak proof roof. You will need somewhere to sit and sup fluids when it lashes down - like now i guess. Also somewhere to store bits & bobs instead of humping and dumping all the time.
All you do and all you see is all your life will ever be

As the others say, don't try and do it all at once - plan the work in 'bite size' pieces (and go for succession planting).

This is a great site for getting advice.

As Pete10 says, don't forget the 'before' photos.

Congratulations and Good Luck :)

Good luck Stapes, as The Scousers advise mark out an area at a time and before you know it you'll have a couple of beds up and running. :D You can still get some onion sets in, even broad beans if it's mild where you live. Get some manure from your local stables if you can, make sure it's well rotted and dig some in or just spread it on top of your soil, but don't put it where your roots are going they don't like the rich soil. Collect as many bags of leaves from local park or on the roadside to keep for  next years leaf mould to use as a mulch. Best of luck and never let the weeds or weather get the best of you .  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.
