Hope this works, (I am new to this forum);

The following are a couple of albums of my garden, taken last summer:

This one includes both my flower garedn and the veg plot.

The second gallery is taken at my parents house and where I learnt to garden. My farther is a farmer and both my parents are great plants people.

They have the advantage of wonderful light soil in Devon whereas I have heavy clay in Sussex.

Let me know if you can or cannot see the pictures.

Great photos Jerry :) Your garden looks lovely, you have obviously worked very hard.  Like the car too ;) :D

What a lovely place your parents have - what a great place to learn to garden. :)
Happy gardening all...........Pat

Thanks

The garden did not really exist 8 years ago, the previous owner had 3 dogs, no borders and rarely cut the lawn.

And yes my parenst house is very special. They are farmers in Devon and both of them are very keen gardeners, unusual for most farmers I have to say.

Having grown up there and eating home grown food every single day meant that when I FINALLY had my own garden I had to have a veggie garden. A degree in Agriculture and Business Studies helps a bit too.

Lovely house - but are those really this year's beans?? = Tim
PS We get organic veg/fruit boxes from Riverford Farms in Buckfastleigh. Excellent! With lots of Devon soil on them!!

sandersj89

LOL. No, not this years beans, the photos of my garden were taken last year.

The farm pictures where taken a few weeks ago at last half term when we went done with the kids to stay for a few weeks.

I will be taking more pictures of my garden over the weekend I hope as the weather is looking good. The veg garden is a bit bare at the moment, just a few leeks and some swiss chard left. Spuds not showing their heads yet.

The house garden is looking good, daffs have finished but plent of other colour.

Jerry - thanks.
I shouldn't mention this, but you're using Dan, the Master's logo. Not copyright, but confusing! Do yourself a way-out one? = Tim

Nice pictures Jerry. Once again i am green with envy. Particularly love your parents garden, Devon is one of my favorite counties and would love to live down there (and garden of course). Not saying that Dorset (where i am now) isnt very nice of course. A case of the 'grass always being greener on the other side' perhaps(?)

Do keep the photos coming, we'd all love to see more, I think.

I will be updating the galleries through the summer, and now I have taken on an allotment I will be tracking it's progress with the camera and will add a new album on Webshots.

Thanks guys
