Hello Prink

I have downloaded that avery programme but when I try and install it on my machine I keep getting Error 1303?  Any ideas on what the problem is?

Thanks

If you can't be a good example -- then you'll just have to be a horrible warning....

Sorry Jb, no idea, I'm not very good on PCs when something goes wrong!

Recipes, potting and labelling ideas thanks to A4a - Dixie, EJ, greyhound, jennym, moonbells, prink, tim, valmarg ... have I forgotten anyone? :P :)

'Black Mango' chutney (in the bottle) made with green tomatoes not mangoes 8)

Jitterbug

WOW Supersprout that is impressive!!

I managed to get four bottles of curried apple and plum chutney out on Saturday and it turned out wonderful with help from a newly purchased ringing timer ::) ;D

I have now ordered TONS of bottles which were delivered today and DH paled when they turned up on the doorstep.  I have taken a dox 1lb bottles out and 6 180 ml jars out for the single people on my christmas list and I feel an itching to go an pull the last of the beetroot out the garden and go and purloin some more bramble apples....

Jitterbug

PS : The pot cleaned up well after a real good scrubbing and soaking.

ah yes, Green Tomato... I can never get over how the sharp vinegar mellows after a month or two in storage. I have the last pot of last year's, and compared it with the freshly-made stuff as of 2 days ago - what a difference!

I'll have another batch tonight, if I can persuade Sir to give up some of his chillies... and the blight hasn't rotted all of the bagful.

I don't do complicated labels - I use the write-on sellotape on the lids, so I can peel it off easily if I ever need to!

Here's my grand total:

13 are green tomato (rescued as blight struck), 3 runner bean (Delia) 1 cucumber relish (the only whole one left!), 1 aubergine and garlic and 2 beetroot.

There may be more beetroot ahead. If I can get my hands on more jars!

Mrs Ava

I want a recipe for a really good red tomato chutney, that stays red and chunky!  I made spicy tomato and onion yesterday, and it went orangey brown.  I suppose I am after more of a relish than a chutney.  I shall keep trying!

Love array there MB.  What is the runner bean chuts like?  It is something I have never tried.  I don't like picillillillliiiii for example - is it similar?
