How big does spaghetti squash get and should it be pale blue green - or have I got my squash seeds mixed up!

Ours tend to be off-white to pale yellow.

 ;D...I don't know but my Lasagne Bush is going great guns, alongside my Macaroni Vine... ;D ;D ;D

Mine have always been yellowish. I spotted a couple of small ones coming the other day. That only leaves the butternut squash which hasn't started making fruit yet.

seriously how big does veg spag (small labels) get it,s in between my sweetcorn and doing rather well ;D do I stop it after so many ? one bit is climbing up the water butt. I don,t spoil my veg with watering too much so it,s in to self service!

Growing spaghetti squash for the first time this year, and its very vigorous - have about 4 decent sized fruit on one, and I'm going to nip the end off soon.

I've grown spaghetti squash twice in the past and have just let it romp away. you can eat it at practically any size. I have left them to be about a foot in length - that seems to be about right. They keep really very well - for severaly months - but they need to have thick skins first, so if you want to keep them let them ripen a bit first.
To cook, you can bring to the boil an simmer, or bake it in the oven - they can take about 45 mins. In the oven, stab them first...

Mine are pale blue green too.

thanks sarah b I was wondering what to do with them I understand they don.t have much taste but they look very good on the lotty I,m also growing some walking stick cabbages which could go to 10foot  anything for attention ;D

They're pretty bland, but the other side of that is that they go with loads of things.
