Off to Brixham/Torquay tomorrow (6 hour drive.....groan) to visit sick rellie  :'(........anything else a gel and her Ma can do or see whilst in the area, and between hospital visits? (a good pub in the area would be a bonus ;D)  Dottie P.

Ok DP, You wont be too far from Totnes, is lovely place to go and can recommend superb place to eat but, nevertheless, is bit of drive from Torquay!  Let me know if u would like further update!

Hi Doris, how long will you be there for? RHS Rosemoor is well worth a visit if you are there for a while - it's about an hour and a half from Brixham though, so probably a whole day out.... AA route planner is a very useful tool!

Thanks Jams, only 2 days, have already been on the AA route planner, will use some of the route suggested, but it sent me upwards and on the M25 (largest car park in the UK!) so shall be giving that way a miss! Will Look up Rosemoor and see if it is anywhere on my route back! Thanks for the suggestion  ;D

Ok DP, you haven't given me much time.  Suggestion.  Go to google and search restaurants in Babbacombe and St Marychurch, having looked, think you will find something good.  Totnes may be too far with aged Ps.

Those places ver y near and do have good places, hope is help.  Have better time than U think u will!  :D :D :D

mmmmm Devon.....going down over Easter to stay with my nan and gramps.  Tis where my mums side of the family originate and I still think of it as my home.  Love it to bits.  North Devon rather than South so no help at all DP, just made me think longingly..............   ::)
