My Father - thank you ...

As several members have realised, my elderly father was taken very seriously ill a while back with a collapsed lung. The situation continued to compound itself with recurrent collapses and subsequent weakening, and other associated conditions. My father has now recovered from the episode and convalesced back to relative good health. Today I returned him to his sheltered flat, where he will have company over the weekend to help him adjust back to independence.

This saga inevitably took its toll on me, as you may understand, and so I want to say thank you to all the people who were naturally warm and sympathetic, and tolerant of my sessions in the chat room etc. Without your presence, and ready ear and cheerful humour, I would have struggled to provide the necessary support to my father.

Thank you again  :)

Just glad he's better Curry and able to go home. :) :)

Good to read he has recovered enough to be able to go home.  I hope your father settles back into things as soon as possible.

Very pleased to read your post Curry. So happy for you that your Dad has recovered and is now home,  -  really good news.  It is a strain when something like this has happened and does take its toll, so you look after yourself and give yourself a lot of TLC too now.   busy_lizzie
