It is Gavin's birthday today.  It has been so long since he vanished, I do so hope he is okay.  Last time I looked, his personal website hadn't been updated since last summer.

Happy birthday from me too Gavin. The website is how I found A4A and I still look every week to see if the diary has been updated as I enjoyed it so much.

The last entries were about cycling to Scotland for the G8 summit so perhaps he liked Edinburgh so much he decided to stay?

I had a talk to Gavin at Shipley Potato Day last Feb., and have sent him an email to see if he's coming this year, so I'll let him know he's missed if he turns up. Last year he didn't get any of the spuds he wanted as they sold out in about 30 mins of frenzy. I offered to bag him some before the doors open (Perk!).

Was out there a couple of weeks ago having a Thai meal and a quick pint at the old Tram Shed. Don't recall doing anything that would get me in the papers though!
