Allotments 4 All

These are some I collected over the weekend. Most have been given away or eaten. Yummy!  I can't bring myself to either part or eat that big one. It's huge. I'm dying to know which hen is responsible for it. Shan't say what OH tells me to look for in order to find out which chook did it but I'm sure you can guess. Not nice that man sometimes. Tut tut!  ;D

Thanks peeps!  Guess what? I walked into the kitchen this morning and OH was cooking three eggs...one was my big one! :(  I told him it wasn't meant for eating it was meant for admiring and then for my lunch later :) Oh well I shall have a little one instead.

I want one of those wicker shopping baskets to collect the eggs in. Can you still get them? You know the type that every mum used before plastic carrier bags and supermarkets.

Our local Tesco just got rid of its plastic ones and brought the old ones back. I see plenty left lying around as well, I bet most allotment sites have a few going spare.

Good haul, Heldi!! Look for the hen walking with a limp/cowboy walk ... ;)

No apparently it wasn't Lady Cosmos! Serves him right for nicking it off me. Never fear,I have two more biggies to snaffle for myself,infact I'm going to write my name on them. Its like having a flatmate all over again  ;D
