I thought that I was so good cutting down from a bottle of wine am & 3-4 Scotches pm to - perhaps - one Scotch pm. But when you measure that 'normal' Scotch you find that it is a treble!! WAY over the recommended limit!!

Hey Tim, from that link I'm under the recommended upper limit for women but says I should still cut back, have mineral water instead, just doesn't have the same appeal though does it. :)

Tim I sometimes don't have a drink for 2/3 months but when I do.....oh boy!!!! Wonder how many units a bottle of brandy is and can I spread it over the non drinking weeks ;D?

Tim Charlie  never drank, my kids very seldom drink (have always got a chauffeur though) and I don't like drinking on my own but, New Years resolution ..I will have a little drink each evening. I was going to have a brandy and lemonade this evening but remembered I have left the lemonade in the car and I am too flipping lazy to go up to the garage to get it.. So there will be a new me in 2006 ;D ;D

Lorna - nothing to do with what we look like - except eventually - but how nice to have a little 'warmer' each evening? But make it STRONG & sip it. A weak one goes nowhere & gets to the bloodstream much more quickly.

I used to do my shopping in the Naafi at JHQ!  At the time I lived on RAF Wildenrath ,my ex husband was based at RAF Bruggen.

Had some great laughs in Roermond. Also  Venlo.Maasricht,Einhoven.Amsterdam..... ;D  ;D
