are those sweet potatoes in the plastic bag? If so they look really good (as does all the other stuff) a lot of mine had holes in them :(

Thank you!!! Soup simmering!! And smells lovely!!
Ani, they're Pink Fir pots, I've been very lucky this year, and haven't had many pest probs...Last year though, different story, toms had blight, pots had blights, cabbages covered in whooly aphid. Not sure why not this year. Strange.

Looks really good, hope your celery is edible, mine wasn't, it was like a load of string despite my best efforts! Enjoy the soup!

Mrs Ava

Very impressive.  I pulled a celery today - don't think they are ever going to make sizeable plants - must remember to sow earlier next year and plant them in a sunnier site - but they are going into DP's minestrone!  ;D

Thank you! Well, can say with head held high for once...soup was delicious!! Kids loved it, bar Dan, but he's my fussy one... ::) Thanks DP! I did start my celery off really early EJ, too early I think. It's now getting on the stringy side, but wonderful in soup.. ;D ;D ;D

spacehopper

Make the most of today, because you'll never have it back again.
