They are also here in Herts !  :o

Came back from home to find one buzzing around in the kitchen and one of the dogs was very interested and too close for comfort !

Hubby grabbed a glass - caught it and dispatched it outside !

:o ;)

I am attempting to grow money trees you see philandjan.  Well, needs must!  ;D  Unfortunately, my darling Ava captured the monster and brought it home in a jar to photograph!  aaaaggghhhhh

MMMmmmmm...lovely picy of a hornet!! But why grow 50p trees? Bung a few 2 pound coins in....maximise profits? LOL... ;D

Garden Manager

Only ever seen hornets once in my garden, In that long hot summer in 2003. There were loads, feasting on the nectar of a hebe.

Not sure if I want them permanently in residence though. Wasps are bad enough.  :(
