Party??

The firemen are asking if it is time for a Spring party?   Is it time to clean the mice and spiders from the the shed (might need a hand with that!) and put up the decorations yet, we could get the barbeque going and by the looks of the site have plenty of Pigeons, moles, Rats  even snake to cook on it!!
I can bring some of those slug appetisers, (less chilli sauce this time) and have some Elderberry and runnerbean wine I can contribute!  If so what date is the most convienient to you all? And should we have a dress code again? (stilletoes optional as they do stick in the mud!) or a theme?

I'm game DP  ;D Haven't been to a good party for ages and in anticipation have dusted down the diamontee sling back wellies and the gucci overalls.  Have some sloe gin left and can whip up some lovely slug kebabs.

We could call it the May Ball.

Ooh a Party!  Can't remember the last time I went to one.  Would it be bad to suggest a Tuesday or Wednesday?  Just that we are all so busy at weekends, might be a good mid week boost!  Until someone suggests the menu, I can provide the scented flowers for background if that's any help!

Is dressing up required?  'Cause if so, better get the ironing board out!

Can provide some red and white wine for those who aren't so adventurous and could provide some frog burgers as pond is overflowing!  Had a chat with them and they are willing - said something about controlling the population!

I went out last night in my poshest outfit, even combed me hair!  Earrings on - the lot.  I spoke to a chap I know - he helps us out with our in bloom jobs - didn't recognise me  ;D    ;D

He always sees me in the same gardening gear - usually with my hood on as it's raining

Great - always up for a party  :D   What about music though?  Should have some sort of flower theme? - difficult to imagine a vegetable theme working! but some of you might have some bright ideas.
