Kitchen Garden Trial Seeds

has anyone tried planting the seeds they got with Kitchen Garden magazine and have you had much luck.

Alpine strawberries and Quartz peas were complete no shows and only 1 of 3 Zuchinni have come up. Just wondering if this is a widespread issue or maybe just a badly stored batch.

ive only tried the zuccini and i put three in and three came up so maybe i was lucky

The zuchinni finally came up, the latest failure/extremely slow to start are the Petroswki turnips. Never had any trouble with the other 2 types I grow, even from Mr F. Not sure what is going on with them.

Alpine strawberries came up but didn't grow, just died off. Quartz peas never appeared. I thought it was me 

The courgettes however did really well, I have 6 good plants.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

The zucchini came through in the end, a little small, so are the marketmore cucumbers.
Herbs did ok
PEas and strawberries a no.

Maybe Asda froze them or something???

A long shot but is anybody still growing pea variety Quartz and has anybody been saving seeds from them? 

My saved seeds have two different appearances.  The colour is the same, but some are very round and others are definitely wrinkle seeded.  I have no original seeds left.  If you have original seeds, please have a look and tell me what appearance the seeds are?

All seedlings have come up with the hypertendril trait, tendrils much more pronounced than in normal peas for clinging to each other and supporting each other.  They also look as if they are all going to be a shorter plant.  All the same uniform height as seedlings. 

Quartz is not said to be a hybrid, but I don't know what is what with the two different seed types.  Hope somebody on here can help.

Thank you InfraDig, have only just spotted.  My bad as there are so many photos with ads between posts, I scrolled past.  Apologies and thank you for the hint.  Yes it helps and answers my question exactly.  There are very round seeds there, even green seeds, which I did not have any of.  And one of the seeds is green and fully wrinkled also.  Almost like there is more than one variety here.
