Those in the southeast better start doing a rain dance or three - if there aren't any April Showers, then you might have a hosepipe ban. Sort out your waterbutts, etc....

It's pouring down here in Hampshire at the moment!

Been raining quite steadily this morning, seems to be slowing down a bit now. Just in time as I sowed pea and carrot seeds over the weekend and yesterday and the water butts on the allotment are running low, taps not turned on yet for some reason. Trouble is this rain will also get the weeds going!

Funny I was up the plot yesterday thinking how dry it was for the time of year! Woke up to rain this morning!  ;D
Multi, am planning a barbeque on Sunday, so we are guaranteed rain in the south east!  :)

As Essex is practically a dessert, we are used to it.  You can often see gatherings of Essexonians grouped at Oasiseses around the countryside, commonly refered to as ' Ye Olde Red Lion' or ' The Griffin'.  As for waterbutts, we are well stocked and tend not to use the hose pipes but let mother nature do what she does best.
