Hope everyone's gardens and plots have come through the night unscathed.

My poly tunnel finally succumbed to the wind and shredded itself.  Fence panel down in the garden and a tile or two off the roof - nothing that isn't easily fixed.
We did think we had lost a cat as it wasn't here for brekkie (he normally is squeaking for it as soon as we move) but he was just out inspecting the damage!

There's wild and there's really wild. What a night. I was out bracing up the fence panels so we never lost any. The trees were shaking a bit but they will be alright. I moved the vehicles just in case. Water blown into the conservatory but that can soon be fixed.  I had a job sleeping as the wind was roaring outside and all sorts of thoughts go through your head. Checked on our elderly neighbour, what's all the fuss about she said.

Just bits and pieces of twigs at home but a 30'tree crashed down on to our plot fence and parts of it went through a polytunnel during friday nights winds. Not going near today, haven't got 3 hours today to move wood like on Saturday and that was just to make it safe.
Hope everone is safe xx

Dreadful night didn't sleep much because of the noise, however all seems to be in order except for a "dalek" in the middle of the lawn, even my little poly greenhouse is unscathed.

Dreadful night.  2 fence panels are down and I've just been to  help remove them from the back lane so that folk get get through. The 40 year old plum tree looks as though it may topple at any moment- luckily it's not near anything that matters.

i had to retrieve 4 panes of glass from the neighbors garden out of greenhouse, the thing is its 20ft from the fence and they went over that. Good job they are toughened glass.
you may be a king or a little street sweeper but sooner or later you dance with de reaper.

Still blowing a gale here and wet with it.  My new windbreak netting has been ripped off some of its supports so i need to go and fiw that.  A few tiles loose on the roof but no new tree or trellis damage - but only because the trellis is still tied up since the last big storm in July.  We've been waiting for all the plants to die back so we can go and concrete the posts.  Metposts don't do in strong winds.

Haven't ventured out to check the shed and greenhouse yet.  Too wet.

I hope it calms down by this evening as I didn't sleep at all well with all the noise.

Everything very wet and windswept but no real damage, went to allotment to pick sprouts for 7 tomorrow and will have to pick for 9 on Saturday. The variety "Bridget" seems to stand bad weather very well.
