Some happy news

At the grand old age of 70 I have become a GREAT grandma!  My granddaughter gave
birth this morning to a baby girl, 8lb 11oz (ouch) who she has named Isabella Alice.

When I told my husband, and told him the name,  he asked me if they had named the baby after me!

Thanks for all your kind wishes.

I went to visit them at the hospital this afternoon and they
are both doing well.  Isabella slept through being passed
around, let's hope she is going to be a good baby.

My granddaughter's partner's family are South African.  I've
had what I think is a brilliant idea and suggested that they
call the baby 'Isabella Mandela Alice'. 

They think I'm crackers.
