Thank you for all the good wishes everyone.

Weatherwise it has been cold, dark and wet all day but I've enjoyed the day - watching various birds (including 7 long-tailed tits) on my re-arranged bird feeding station. My friend Rebecca came knocking at the door with a birthday cake with 9 candles (no room for the other 70 ), flowers and a squirrel proof bird feeder. I wanted to take a photo of it but it was too dark so I'll try to do that tomorrow and post it on the wildlife forum.

Lots of cards and phone calls and a lunch next week still to look forward to.
