Give me a garden related topic to post on then, not endless lists that are not any use to anybody apart from a wannabe garden book author who can copy and paste the best answers to put in a mysterious publication and then call them his own ideas. Blimey! you even wanted us to give you a title. If you do not know the title of your own book it leaves me in the frame of mind that there really isn't a book, perhaps you can pretend it was a joke like the coffee grinder fiasco.

Digeroo

Actually he did tell us the title
QuoteFor those who interested the book:Divine secrets of the vegetable garden:
A guide for companion planting and succession planting

But various alteratives were suggested.   It may be that some thought his title a bit OTT.  As I said before I think we are giving the secrets for free and he wants to charge for them.

ACE

A bit long for a title. Are you sure that is not the first chapter. I had a quick check on Amazon and they could only come up with
Grab your tissues and send the guys away, because Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood is the most pedigreed chick flick since Steel Magnolias. ...

I don't suppose it is that one, is it?

Just a thought though. If it a real book and  does make it to amazon. A4A gets a cut if you order through the link.

If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

ace why you to daft to start garden related thread on own.

Why would I want to? I do not have to start boorish posts for no reason, I can see no sense in asking the same question about every type of vegetable. I might ask a question to confirm that I am doing it right, I even offer advice if it is asked.

If I asked your advice on a subject, (Which is very unlikely) your answer would be so predictable in telling me I was an idiot for asking. So I might as well sh!t in my best hat as expect a reasonable answer from you.

But then perhaps after working in the industry for the last 40 years, 30 of them as garden foreman I do not need to ask. I just enjoy the banter, I might get on peoples nerves but they only have to ignore me. I ain't fussed.

ACE you're a mere novice then, and modest with it!  :)
I reckon that at times the banter is probably like a foreign language to someone...what a shame!
Good on you, and cheers!

Okay, I've been biting my tongue for weeks on this subject but tonight I'm going to throw in my two penneth.  As amusing as this thread is, I still think it's giving the troll what s/he wants, i.e. attention.  If everyone, and I mean everyone, ignored him/her that person would get bored and leave, ergo we'd have our happy community back.  And before anyone says it, I know I'm just as culpable as the rest by posting this (but you won't find my name attached to any of his/her threads).  The accepted cyber rule is 'don't feed the trolls'.  Please think about it.
