Just in from Caroline...

"Yes, indeed - it's only taken 10 days but they have finally given him a pacemaker this afternoon.  My sister says he seem to be okay and is hoping they'll release him on Thursday or Friday.

He'll be very touched by all the messages from everyone on the A4A site.  Would you please thank them for me?  They sound like a nice bunch and I'm very grateful for the support they've given Dad. Very heartening in trying times.

Many thanks,
Caroline "

And so thanks, 1066, for printing off all the messages for him 8)

Me, I'm sending him a Prezzie from Turkey - a large Evil (Fatima's) Eye on a macrame hanger.....reckon he can hang it round his neck and become the Oldest Swinger in the Cotswolds ::)....pity I couldn't afford a carpet to cushion his fall -  NOT that he will fall again, of course. I flew Turkish Airlines & noticed that they've an Evil Eye prominently fixed in the front cockpit.....if it's good enuff to keep an aircraft up in the sky it's gotta be good enuff to keep Tim upright I reckon ;D

Good News about Tim and thanks for keeping us posted Lish
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

grannyjanny
