This might be my biggest pumpkin this year.  I have others, but they are in the middle of dense foliage and I can't get near them for a photo.

When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Measured it today - from the stalk at the top to the flower end it is 37inches. Across the widest part, from soil to soil it is 49inches.  I've never thought of measuring before so I don't know how it compares to other years.

Looks big now Squash! I haven't measured mine for a while. First time with Atlantic Giants for us this year and we are pleased that ours are looking big.

Borlotti

Was it your pumpkin that appeared on the front page of the Sun newspaper, think it came from somewhere up north.

No, definitely not mine - mine is tiny compared to some of the monsters that people grow.

Yeah but it still qualifies as impractiably huge  :o.... what will you lift it with... an engine crane?.... Do you have a service where you can rent husky young men by the hour?.... I'm seriously jealous, though consoling myself with the thought that there's a couple of packs of AG in my seed box for next year :D

cambourne7

We are running low on husky young men on the site :( so I suppose I'll have to make do with whover I can 'persuade' to help me roll it into the wheelbarrow.
It doesn't seem as big as last year's though.
