i'm about the same but i'm no addict as i have cancelled all subscriptions and haven't bougt a book in months, granted its because money is so tight i have to buy food first to feed the kids :-\ ;).

plus i have all the books spread throught out  the house so the amt looks smaller to the untrained eye, and for fun i've started referancing and cross referancing my magazines ;D ::)

Only two shelves of Garden Magazines?! :o

I've got piles on the floor. I got rid of the magazines I'd kept for the recipes though.

Excuse me! I did say I had used the online Google translation for those cultivation instructions! My French is pretty d**n bien if I say so meself....not! ;D ;D ;D

I only have two double stacked shelves of gardening books and a cupboard full of gardening magazines, so I'm as habit free in this area as I am with seeds...... ::)
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I have one shelf (about 4ft) of gardening books. I tend to give away the mags on freecycle when the pile gets too big, but having cancelled my RHS sunscription and rarely buying any others I feel quite virtuous about those!

How about 20 metres of shelf space of gardening books?

One of them is on offer on Ebay for £200 pounds or so and is actually unobtainable even at that price. So at a conservative estimate the collection is probably worth over £2,000. So, no it definitely was not an offer. And yes I have read all of them bar one. The one I have not read was my Christmas present and I have not reached it yet. I will though,I will.

I should have to say I have more cookbooks than gardening, but some gardening books that I really treasure belonged to my grandad.  Three volume sets of the Fruit Grower's Guide, and the Flower Grower's Guide, and the Illustrated Dictionary of Gardening.  They are all roughly 110 years old, and a fascinating read.

It was getting a bit embarrassing seeing all the shelves of books i had  so to make me feel better i put the majority of them up in the loft and now only have a 3 foot shelf of them on display. So its out of sight out of mind.
