Seed Swap Parcel - New Swap for 2009

Is anyone interested in a new seed 'round robin' swap, starting now,  for Spring 2009?  Any seeds for 2009  very welcome - any suggestions to the swap parcel very welcome.   Any ideas at all welcome!!!!!!

Thanks to all who have replied - I'll update you on order etc in a few days when I have had time to get things  organised.  I love seed swaps - it's going to be fun!!!!

Hi everyone,

Thanks for so much interest and enthusiasm - I'm going to close this now or it will take until the end of 2009 to get around to everyone.   I'll post full details later when I have properly organised myself but the following are on my list  (in no particular order) - apologies if I have missed anyone off (let me know!!!)

I've been asked by a few people how the seed swap is going to operate, so I have come up with the following guidelines:


1.  Have fun – enjoy the swap

2.  Take out any seeds that you want 

3.  Put in any seeds you have left over or that you don't want.

4.  It's OK to put in or take out 'just a pinch' if that's all you need or have to spare. 

5.  I will include some spare bags in case they are needed. 

6.  Please try to label any additions clearly

7.  Growing instructions are great – but remember you can look these up on the internet –      so don't panic if there aren't any shown.

8.  Try to keep the swap moving, and pass on as quickly as possible to the next person on the list .

9.  Make sure the package is clearly marked with a return address so it (hopefully!!) doesn't go missing.

10.  Please post a message on the A4A swap link when the parcel has been received/sent on 

11.  Have a great growing season in 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
