winter has arrived here in Suffolk today, it is so cold & windy & miserable out there drop of rain to make it all wintery as well.

What is it like where you are ?

Here in Oldham it's a beautiful sunny autumn day! The tree I can see from my window has leaves starting to turn gold and there is a slight nip in the air.  Makes a change from the normal grey sky and miserable weather we normally have.

Just the same in Nottingham rosebud  :(  don't much fancy going out in the garden today so just had a bowl of leek and spud soup and will spend the rest of this afternoon with a mug a coffee and a good book in front(sod the bill) of the fire.

As you can see in this photo taken from my bedroom window, the weather here is horrendous today.  So much cloud.

Looked out bedroom window before 7 this morning and the grass was white, not sure if it was ground frost or air frost.  The sun was shining until 9sh then clouds rolled in for the day.  It was nice enough, cold but at least no rain.

Been a lovely day here in sunny Herts and set fair for a few days I think.  Looks like our summer has arrived a bit late :)

......there was a leak in the roof of the pub at lunchtime today but hey! we're used to watered down beer ;)
