But then, we're food lovers, not a supermarket.

And who is it who always says - 'only 5 fruit to an aubergine plant'?
Rats! That's 32 from 4 plants in 12 days. Small? Who said anything about size?? = Tim

Congrats Tim, another baby to play havoc with your seedlings!  ;D

And what do you mean not perfect - they all look darn near perfect to me!  What will you be cooking up with all of those aubs?

Jesse

Tim your aubegines look wonderful, just wish they'd sell them that size in the supermarkets, the ones I buy are far too big and tend to get wasted as I only use about half. Do you need a greenhouse to grow them or can you get outdoor varieties?

Jesse - I grew them a couple of years ago in a tall cold frame. They did very well. And that's 650' up in the Cotswolds. These are in a cold house. Same thing but bigger.

Emma -I'm doing Sicilian parmigiana for the pregnant veggie - next door - & her sister, just landed back from France today - while we 7 others have chicken casserole. And broccoli from the garden - see elsewhere!! And we do lots of MAMTA'S aub pickle. Really good! = Tim
