Bother, bother, bother. In North Hampshire where I live, we've had heavy rain forecast on the met office site all day for overnight. Just looked as there is no sign yet in the real world - and they've 'taken it away'... Well, you know what I mean.

The busiest day of the year in the bakery.  Not looking forward to tomorrow.  Can't beleive I'm praying for rain.  Plot of concrete.

The car thermometer said 28% when I drove somewhere at dinnertime, I thought it was because it was parked in the sun, but it only went down to 26% when we were moving (nice with the hood down) Parked it in the shade for the afternoon and it hit 30% about 4 oclock. Shorts on and going commando to keep em chilled. ;)

No rain here for weeks. I was weeding at 8:00 this evening and the soil was warm! Loving the weather but worrying about my plants. The soil around my garlic was cracking, and it's not even clay.

IT's raining and thunder and lightning, just hope it stops before morning, it does mean we don't have to have a mammoth watering session tomorrow, all the butts are nearly dry and we're having to take 5 gallon drums with us  ;D

So hot today, but not now we have thunder and lightning and rain.  A bit dark here tonight in not so sunny Enfield.  But we do need the rain for the allotment.  Lucky I planted some seeds today.
