We don't inherit the earth, we only borrow it from our children.

Grandma

How lovely! Thanks all for sharing  :-*

I had a smashing day yesterday. My brother is over in the UK from South Africa to see our dear old Dad and we all had a 'family day' with my daughter, her partner and her two boys. (Any excuse for a get-together!)

Highlight of the day - especially for the 'old fogies' - (my Dad and me) - was a Skype link-up with my son who is currently in Goa on an advanced computer course. It was absolutely amazing to be able to see and talk to him in real time and very special for him - (all alone in his hotel room!) - to have four generations of his family all talking and waving to him and wishing him well from back home! All this high-tec stuff baffles me - but how small it makes the world seem!

So special to see my 'baby' - (he's 41!) - across the miles!

Agree Grandma makes the world seem much smaller. Glad you had a great day. My nephew in Kent has 2 sons and 2 Grandsons in Australia and although he and his wife go out
once or twice a year it is so lovely when they see and speak to them .

This is a little different- one of our grandchildren named Peter playing the piano after only two years of lessons. He had a wonderful teacher. I hope you enjoy the music! He loves the piano and playing for people.
