After a significant time lurking in the background and learning from A4A gurus (many thanks to Jeannine and Tim particularly - so knowlegeable!, pardon spelling)I have decided to take the plunge and become a user! It's not quite as scary as I first thought! ;D I may now be able to contribute something useful!

I've been fighting the elements through flood and storm for two years now on my allotment and this year I WILL have bumper crops!Grrrrr...I'm ready for you weather!

I have scoured every catalogue for a bargain, books for tips and consulted my own diaries/jottings.   Lets hope this year something works! ;)

I shall now go back to chatting to my chilli seeds who are hiding from me in their composty warmth,

Hello and Bye Bye for now

Welcome DeeBee.  And from whence have you been "lurking" then?  Hopefully, if the rain ever stops long enough, we'll all be hoping for a better year this year.  Any pics?

Welcome, DeeBee, hope to see you in here regularly!

Thank you guys for the warm welcome.

You know you've got the allotment bug bad when......

...watching the news I was feeling jealous of all those lucky southerners with free cold frame building material appearing on their beaches! Need to remember its a dangerous shipping hazard and not late christmas present.

.....I now slow down for skips

...nothing gets freecycled everything has a possible alternative use on the lottie and if I dont know what somebody here will have an idea I'm sure  :)

Hello and welcome from me too Dee Bee.

Darn I was hoping that wood might float down to my way  ;). Saw on the news tonight and it looked at first like thousands of matchsticks all washed up. Next we'll be seeing seals floating on home made rafts  ;D
:) Net It Or You Won't Get It  :)
