Far too early to think about it- I think this topic should be banned until December- bah humbug! ;D

lorna

Too early? I have already had one present. Lorna paid for my new glasses as part of my Christmas present. She came in the other day from shoppng and said "Don't look in that bag"
Hoping for gardening presents although son John refuses to buy gardening things, John and Donna usually buy me personal things.
Like Caroline think it is too early to really think about Christmas.

We're going to Paris - again - before Christmas so that will have to do [rather nicely actually].  What I would like to ask for is a guarantee for no blight next year,  gentle rain every night and bright warm days!

Blue Bird

We went to Paris one New Year and it was brill.

that would be great but would also like to weeds to stop growing !!

Paradox there... I'm not able to think that far ahead... so I'll wait until Xmas... don't hold out much hope though as not had B'day present yet from July!!
::)

calendula

I've already had one of mine, a juice press but there's plenty of time to hope that I'll get something else as well  ;D

Deb P

A finished off last years Christmas present, my lottie shed would be nice....
No roof on it yet.... :-\
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

Scary thought. I'm off to France for Xmas - in the Jura beside Geneva with my brother. It would be nice to have snow and maybe get to the ski slopes?

I'll have to start putting things together to take with me soon. Also get the Xmas cards done. I have a painting Peter did loaded in the computer and need to format it as a card and print it out. Now would be a good time. If I leave it till later it just becomes too much pressure.

I liked it in the days when Xmas began on Xmas Eve with putting the tree up and decorating it. Mind you the food preparations always start round about September but I haven't had to do that this year since I'm going away.

I'm planning to ask for a Kelly kettle. Has anyone got one? It sounds magnificent. Do they really work?

Emagggie

My brother has one and he loves it.
I'm thinking that perhaps a rotovator is a present too far, so maybe I'll ask for some leather gardening gloves  ;D
Smile, it confuses people.

rosebud

I would like peace & goodwill in this crazy world of ours.

If I ever get it all right - then that's the time to quit.
