Why on earth do they do these things?

My poor neighbour is heartbroken this afternoon.  He went out with his wife for a couple of hours and when he returned he found that his greenhouse had had almost every pane of glass smashed and the same had been done to his little summerhouse.  Whoever did it didn't take anything.  There are some right scumbags out there.   >:(

And this is on a Sunday afternoon in broad daylight, not 50yards from the back of our houses - nobody heard or saw a thing.

I hope the culprit(s) cut themselves. :(
Smile, it confuses people.

If they do cut themselves they would probably sue for compensation

Well, the Police will certainly not get involved - they might get  their uniforms stained. They are not even allowed now to throw a lifebelt to someone in case they fall in.........???

must be the weekend for it, one of our plotholders who's just started,  has had 6 panes of glass broken by **** throwing stones, about 44 feet from an eight foot fence, how they did it, we don't know..whoever they are, they can certainly throw

Catapult. Still on sale in certain shops!  Can be a killer in the wrong hands. As if they ever end up in the right hands.

Just heard that another neighbour further down the road had their greenhouse done and also their garage door windows yesterday too.  This was not kids with stones - there is no evidence of any bricks or rocks or anything.  It looks as though someone has kicked or punched every pane through.   >:(   I just can't believe the audacity - to have done it in plain view on a Sunday afternoon to two people in the same row only yards from our houses.

Still waiting for the Police to arrive...   ::)

Rach - yes it sure is!

Convert to a greenhouse made from 2-litre plastic bottles?

My folks greenhouse has been subject to target practice with airgun. One culprit was next-door-but-one - age 13/14/15 at the time.

I noticed that someone down the road from us has their greenhouse entirely covered in a shroud of chicken wire and it took me ages to figure out why...

the little darlings in our area have been 'free-running' along walls and up steps. one of the other things they decided to run across was my car, denting the bonnet and completely caving in the roof :'(. I reported it to the police but unless they actually catch them in the act they can't do anything â€" mind you, because the kids that did it were pretty young (they left tiny footprints all over my car) they probably couldn't do anything anyway.

makes me want to take a baseball bat to their bikes...

I know how you feel! >:(
You`ve never got a baseball bat on you when you need one have you? ::)
