Beautiful pictures gardener, thank you for sharing them.
We may be going there on Saturday with friends that live up that way! Used to do bonsai, so was particularly interested in those fabulous trees!!  (oh and I saw you mentioned they have a garden center, Mr. Pinks may have to hand over his credit card, could be an expensive visit!!!) DP
We don't inherit the earth, we only borrow it from our children.

JAL

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to supply us with such fab pics - after a hard day at work it really lifted my spirits.  I got a digital camara for Christmas and can take pics but have not yet mastered the art of sharing them!

I live approx 20 mins from Wisley and don't visit as often as I should - my non gardening hubbie can only be persauded to go to lunch! Quick 20 minute walk round the 2 hrs in restaurant - which does serve a qood lunch.

Did you visit the allotment?  Our self managed plots have arranged a visit this Saturday but unfortunately I am working.

I looked in Jal, not much on the go at the moment.

Plenty of lettuce on trial.

Signs of lots to come.

Big G - lots of lovely things , & a good eye but, as I've queried before, quite a nice camera?? = Tim

Mrs Ava

Absolutely glorious pics, as Tim says, very good camera, such excellent quality!  I haven't been to Wisley for years and years, used to go there and Kew often.....I sense some summer visits when the kids are off school!  Thanks for showing them G, they really are beautiful!

The gardener

The camera is a Fuji finepix 1400 zoom. with 3x optical zoom and 1.3 mega pixel.

Not a big capacity as cameras go but sufficient for my needs.

It was the 'close up' facilty that attracted me to it.  I can get as close as 100mm (4") and get clear images.

Then (if necessary) when I crop the pictures on my Pc  they come even closer. All in all I am quite happy with it.
