Go to your local chippy - I managed to get some from mine, he was more than happy to let me have some, as he was only going to throw them away!

I had no luck at my local 'chippy' :'(  but got a few from my local green grocers. ;D

My local council supply brown paper sacks for recycling garden waste, available from local library; or I used to "snaffle" the paper bags provided by a well-known D.I.Y store to pack stuff in!
.... depends on your social conscious ! ;)

Hi

I find that collecting all the paint samples is a very good way to get the paper bags.

I also got the very large double lined ones from my local recycling place as they give then to you to take away free compost.

So i get one full of compost and empty it on the plot to fill with spuds :-)

Someone posted about storing them in paper ream boxes a few weeks ago. Sounded like a good idea to me, easy to stack up, and a use-able amount in each box.

find someone who keeps chickens, the paper feed bags from the chicken feed is ideal for storing potatoes and they're a nice large size too.

I get mine from my local corner shop
