Thank you all for the warm greetings! It's been a good day. Workwise my heaviest day of the week, however the young folk all lifted their game and made me pleased nay proud to be their teacher! ;D ;D

Met Peter at the garden centre after work and am now the proud owner of a battery operated set of Wolf long arm shears for the grass paths at the allotment. Number 2 son lavishly replenished the booze stock, number one son bought dinner for us all at the local Italian restaurant; cash-strapped student daughter sent a lovely cat card and lots of love. I came home to a house filled with flowers (from Peter's daughters and Peter) and little Lucy (gdaughtr) hasn't stopped kissing me and wishing me happy birthday since four o'clock.

On top of that Robert's tomato seeds arrived via swapshop and also my new all-singing all-dancing mobile. Can't complain. I've had a good day.
