sending me some of their rain please?

It seems to me at the moment everyone else is getting it and not me and my poor dried out garden!

Rain to the north, rain to the east, rain to the west, but no rain here. Instead: Cloudy, windy (at times, but not right now) and quite cool, even dare i say it COLD (relatively speaking of course).

Summer appears to be over, but the rains of autumn seem as distant as they were a month ago.

Blow, winds, and clap your cheeks! Rain, pour! We haven't had anywhere near enough either.

Tulipa

We have had very little too Richard, it is so frustrating, bet we get a really wet autumn when I have to spend so much time standing on the touchlines again!

Yes, plenty in the Midlands please, an inch down, the ground is absolutely parched.
The impossible is just a journey away ...

We've had 37mm in a month. It's gone nowhere. Still dust 1/2" down. Or quarry blocks! And the cracks are widening.

And they are still washing their cars in the Thames area. So much for 'authority'!!

Mrs Ava

Altho we have had lots, I think I will hang onto it for just a tad longer.  Tis a chilly wind today - after the rain, I could do with a blast of sun to get things romping again.

Need some here too please. They keep promising but it just doesn't seem to arrive !

Squashfan

We got a solid weekend of it here in southeast London! It was getting so I was forgetting what rain looked like!  ;D
This year it's squash.

Palustris

Well, the clidders have survived another day here!
