Hi I know I havn't been about for months but I thought it only right for all you guys out there to know that Blaze & Smoke ( siberian Huskies ) have passed on. Both on the same day ( July 4th )

I am of cause devastated as it was such a shock to me to lose 2 at once and most of you who I know are my friends will understand.

Take care

Jill, I am so sad to read your news, what a loss for you.  I can't think what to say to help but send you lots of cyber hugs.  Cherish your memories of them.  You have given them a good life and lots of love which was brilliant for them.  Take care, T.x

Jill So sorry that your post is to tell us your sad news, As others have said what words can be said in a time like this.
All your dogs enjoy a wonderful life and I for one was more than grateful when you took the time to advise about my daughters German Shepherd who had a cancer removed.. I did PM you but would just like to let you know that Vickie (daughter) just couldn't bare to follow up with Xrays in case further bad news. Thank goodness Sharne is fine.
My thoughts go out to you.
Kind regards Lorna.

Jill, how devastating.  What happened? Was it an accident or just one of those dreadfully sad coincidences?  My sympathies on loosing two dear friends at once.
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

Jill I am so sorry. The pain of losing one is bad enough, but two?

My heart goes out to you x

Carol

Oh dear Jill, how sad!!  Quite devastating losing 2 dogs in the one day.  Were they both ill?   Hope your other dogs are all fine.  I am so so sorry.

:-* :-* :-*

Thank you for all your kind words.

This is them Blaze is on the right. Smoke is on the left.

Blaze had to go as he was loosing his dignity.

At 3 am the same day as Blaze was due to go.

Smoke had a stroke or some sort of fit and lost the use of the whole of his right side of his body and so could not get up or blink his right eye.

It is bad loosing one dog but loosing 2 on the same day is heart breaking.

A month later I am still not really over it but I know at least some of you out there were interested in my dogs so wanted to let you know they had gone.

Thankyou so much everyone for your kind words. :)

Just a quick update my allotment is thriving. I have had LOADS of peas and tomatoes and strawberrys.

I have also grown sweet corn and it is almost ready to crop. :)

My radishes are huge and my pumpkins are doing very well for a first timer. :)
