Well my sweetcorn are now, thanks to a VERY speedy delivery from E-Bay, languishing in rootrainers.
I ordered them on the Thursday afternoon and they arrived first post friday! :o :o Having waited ages for stuff off e-bay I thought it was worth a hand clap!! ;D

Thanks Doris - have never tried root trainers before, keep thinking I'll have a go.  Maybe I will bet myself organised and get some now

I use these. They are very good.

Very good but very brittle.

They air-prune the roots but, because of this, you cannot keep them on a capillary bench for moisture.
