One of mine was making such a racket today whilst i was in the garden trying to get some work done that i threatened it with being turned into pigeon pie if it didnt shut up. Didnt work, the bird probably guessed (rightly) that I wouldnt/couldnt carry out the threat  ;D.

Oh yes sorry. Wood pigeon. Dont have any of the other sort, just woodpigeons and collared doves here.

Beautiful picture Tim.  ;D  I've bought some netting to put over my brassica plot this year as the woodpigeons cleared all of my young plants last year and I had to start sowing all over again and ended up putting the new plants in the fruit cage.  Brussels only pea size at Christmas but we were still enjoying them up to late March.  ;D
