Tis only 8.24 and there are heaps of you online!  ;D  Glad I am not alone.  Will be taking the urchins to school shortly and then, my flask is made, my seeds are ready and waiting, and I will be heading off to the plot.  Have lots to sow - have to do it today as the kids are off school for nearly 3 weeks starting at the weekend, so will be tricky to get to the plot.  All being well, carrots, parsnips, swedes, turnips, radish, spring onions, kohl rabi, mixed lettuce, spinach, dill, corriander, peas and a selection of flowers will all be sown today.  Then, once the sprogs are back at school, I can take up all of my plantlets and plant them in.  So exciting!  ;D ;D  Will post back later to let you know how it went!

It's sunny in Shropshire and it is not raining, snowing or freezing. Infact it's warm :D. The spring is here perhaps? :) The only problem is it's very windy and I had a frantic call from my daughter in law with whom I share a plot to inform me our rather fragile shed had blown down in the night :(. It's back up now, rather less fragile than it was but also with rather less charm since it is reinforced all over the place with six inch nails and odd pieces of wood.

FAB isn't it  ;D My seedlings are popping up all over the place  ;D

Pity the roof blew off one of the greenhouses at the weekend. Fixing it took at least half an hour out of my planting time  ;D

Fab day (I have upated my blog also!).  Got loads done and am now aching, but pleased with what I achieved.  My cheeks are still glowing from the blustery wind that blew all day!

Got lots of seeds sown and did plenty of weeding.

Picked sprouts and daffs and brocolli.

My garlic is coming on lovely -

All is well in the world!  ;D

Wasn't it windy emma-jane! Love your photos, enviable plot and pickings. We had a comedy afternoon shoring up the greenhouse-that-went-for-a-walk, and chasing after flying seed tapes whipped out of our hands by the gusts. We managed to pin down enough to fill a bed (beetroot, red and black kale, Hamburg and flat leaf parsley, parsnips). I brought along carefully prepared carrot seed tapes too, but they blew awaaaaaaay  >:( ;D

Your plot is looking good EJ and great looking harvest .  Looking forward to reading your blog.  Showers again here today. Hope it is dry over the weekend.

Watch the weather reports, guys.  More subzero temps due on Monday.  Shall change my A4A name to BearerOfBadWeatherTidings soon!

Metcheck and the beeb are completely divergent over the next few days, though both warn of cold weather. I know it's not an exact science, but which do people find more accurate?
For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else.
