Oh how cute is he? We have a robin who occasionally visits but it's the blackbirds who are keen on our garden - if they've eaten all the apple I leave out for them they stand on the garden wall and call to me, and I'm sure they are demanding more!

Robins are so beautiful and don't they know it  ;D  Usually puffed up against the cold but it looks like they are inviting people and other birds to look at them  :)

I was on lotty at the weekend and we had one with us all day.  It's getting quite friendly now and comes into shed for titbits

My doves do that, Plocket - & sometimes if I'm in the lounge they come right up to the window & look in accusingly, & if I go out to garden & don't feed them they fly across my head & call - they are very demanding!

I've got doves too Juliet and they are lovely aren't they.  Mine nest in my garden so I get very attached to them.  My son's friend says his mother smashes their nest down if they attempt to build one.  I think that's very sad and can't imagine why people should take that attitude towards them..

What a gorgeous little fella :)  My favourite bird - lovely photos GW - how DO you do it :)  No snow here in Herts yet, but probably only a matter of time, although having said that, we do seem to miss alot of the really bad weather in our little part of the world :)
