What fabulous pictures, Greenwizard -  I don't know why 52 people have looked at them & no-one else has said so!  I love the bee in the black flower all covered with pollen.

I found a bee drowning in the bird bath the other day :( - it must have been trying to have a drink & fallen in.  I carefully fished it out with a bit of woodchip & put it on the marigolds to dry off - I didn't expect it to survive as it was sooo soggy, but I think it must have done because it was gone a couple of hours later :)

The problem is when GW posts pictures, they are always soooooooooo amazing, we now expect to be stunned into silence!  On my kitchen wall I have a selection of her finest framed....and I fear these will be joining the collection over the weekend....of course, so long as you don't mind GW?!?!?!?!

Oh wow! What stunning photos! Now why won't the bees sit still long enough when I try to take photos of them?

Fab pictures Greenwizard.

Juliet

Thank you Greenwizard.  I think the bumblebee did survive though so don't need too much cheering :)!  But the picture is lovely.  Do you mind if I ask what camera you have? - I'm thinking of getting a digital one & will be looking for one which is good for macro photography.

;D  Thanks GW!   Now all I need is your camera!  ;)   ;D  Looks a great buy at £129 without the printer dock. On my wish list. I desperately need a decent optical zoom for the birdie pics this winter.  They don't pose as readily as the butterflies!  ;)

I've got a Koday Easyshare 3.1 and had it for Christmas last year.  I still take awful pics, well except possibly, one or two but I don't the the camera is to blame for that.

I wish the batteries would last a bit longer though  :(

We now do the rechargeables, much more cost effective  ;D  (and I have just bought a new charger that recharges the 4 batteries in an hour! ;D )
