Looks like the weed, Narrow Leaved Plantain to me.

Thanks- I think it may have been in some wildflower seeds that I sowed last year. The line between wildflowers and weeds is thin! Will dig it lout tomorrow!

I sowed some wild flower seeds last year for a customer and got loads of plantain come through where there were no previously.

Yes, as half acre has said, it's ribwort, otherwise know as narrow leaves plantain.

It's edible, apparently. (My rabbits love the stuff!)
