Emptied one of my Compost bins (Dalek) and sieved it to produce around 200 litres of compost as you can see here;

Closer look:

Bagged Up

Yesterday I mixed some saved used multipurpose compost with rotted horse manure (left)now I am ready for my ring culture and container growing.

Well I will put it this way I haven't emptied that bin for two years so I guess the bottom lot was 2years old progressing to 6 months old at the top.

The other bag is used compost I put in a bin when I emptied containers at the end of last year, then I spruce it with some rotted farm manure and  add Q4 fertilser to make it into Ji 1 or 2 compost.

Hello TeeGee,

Well I saw "Home Brew" in the title and thought I must read that - for obvious reasons.
Interesting post, even if not quite what I expected.

Cheers

Admire the quality of your home brew even if like beersmith it wasn't quite what I expected.
